MultiChoice Nigeria, the company behind the popular music reality show Nigerian Idol, has announced the opening of the call for entries for the show’s ninth edition. With the theme “Dare to Dream,” the show aims to inspire young and talented Nigerians to audition and showcase their skills.

Dr Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and Channels in West Africa at MultiChoice, expressed the company’s commitment to enabling young talent to realize their dreams and delivering premium entertainment to the audience. She also highlighted the success of previous editions of Nigerian Idol, which has encouraged more young Nigerians to dare to dream.

The online submission period for entries began on January 19 and will close at midnight on January 29. Interested participants between the ages of 16 and 28 can record a 30-second clip of themselves singing any song of their choice and upload it on the Nigerian Idol portal on the Africa Magic website.

Season nine promises to be bigger and more entertaining than other seasons, with MultiChoice Nigeria gearing up to deliver even more entertainment for fans of the show.
