BMA’s Webinar To Unpack Strategies For Monetising Across Linear, OTT, And FAST Platforms On January 20, 2026

December 5, 2025
Reading Time: 2 mins read
A A

The contemporary media environment presents a major challenge to broadcasters: the fragmentation of the audience across three distinct platforms—traditional Linear TV, paid and ad-supported Over-The-Top (OTT) streaming, and the rapidly growing Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV (FAST) sector. Viewers are simply watching content, indifferent to the delivery mechanism, yet many broadcasters maintain a rigid, siloed approach to ad sales.

This obsolete model results in significant inefficiencies, including inconsistent inventory management, increased operational costs due to separate sales teams, and an inability to accurately measure and monetise Total Audience Reach across all screens. The crucial task now is to move beyond selling isolated spots on specific channels and transition towards a unified, data-driven strategy that treats all consumption—from spots to streams—as a single, monetisable ecosystem.

To address this critical need, Broadcast Media Africa (BMA) is hosting the essential webinar, “From Spots to Streams: How Broadcasters Can Monetise Across Linear, OTT and FAST Platforms,“ on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. This session will provide executives, sales directors, and strategists with a practical roadmap for implementing a cohesive commercial strategy. Key topics will include integrating sales teams to sell aggregated audiences, leveraging data for precision targeting via Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI), adopting innovative ad formats suited to streaming, and aligning operational workflows to manage content and commercial breaks seamlessly across all delivery channels.

This is an indispensable forum for media professionals aiming to transform audience fragmentation into a profitable, multi-platform advantage.

According to organisers, this webinar is designed to provide executives, sales directors, and strategy teams with a practical framework for integrating their advertising and content distribution strategies across all platforms. Attendees will learn how to shift away from managing disparate revenue streams towards creating a single, cohesive monetisation engine.
