
MultiChoice Nigeria has officially announced the much-anticipated return of Africa’s leading reality show, Big Brother Naija, for its historic 10th season. This new season is set to premiere over two thrilling nights on Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27, 2025. Fans can look forward to 10 weeks filled with captivating drama, strategic gameplay, and unrivalled entertainment, culminating in the grand finale on Sunday, October 5, 2025.
The audition process for this landmark season was carefully designed to identify the most engaging personalities from across Nigeria. Registration for auditions took place from May 3 to May 7, 2025, generating an overwhelming response, followed by in-person auditions held in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu from May 16 to May 18, 2025.
Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of General Entertainment at MultiChoice Group, shared her enthusiasm for the upcoming season: “Today we are not just announcing another season; we are celebrating a legacy.”
While the official theme for Season 10 is set to be revealed on the premiere night, viewers can expect a fresh wave of excitement. The beloved Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will return as the host, navigating fans through every twist and turn of the season. This year’s edition also features the largest prize in history, totalling an impressive US$98,193.
“BBNaija has become more than just a television show; it has become a vibrant cultural phenomenon. It has empowered a new generation of talents, creatives, entertainers, and influencers, showcasing the incredible potential of homegrown entertainment when executed with intention and ambition,” Tejumola remarked.
With a two-night live opening for Big Brother Naija Season 10, the season aims to enhance the legacy left by its predecessors, ensuring fans receive a more dynamic and entertaining experience.
