Eutelsat has renewed its collaboration with the Ministry of Information of Oman (MOI), ensuring the ongoing provision of satellite capacity through the EUTELSAT 21B satellite, located at 21° East.

With this renewal, the Ministry of Information will continue utilising Eutelsat’s E21B satellite to transmit its broadcast services, guaranteeing the reliable and high-quality delivery of national television and media content across Oman. This extension of their long-standing partnership showcases the Ministry’s trust in Eutelsat’s ability to deliver robust and resilient satellite infrastructure, which is essential for the country’s media operations.

EUTELSAT 21B provides extensive coverage throughout the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, serving as a key satellite for government and professional video services in the region. Its powerful Ku-band capacity facilitates high-quality video signal contribution, ensuring exceptional service continuity across the area. This ongoing partnership highlights the crucial role of satellite technology in sustaining a strong national broadcasting environment.

“By extending our collaboration with the Ministry of Information of Oman, Eutelsat reinforces its commitment to providing secure and high-performance broadcast solutions to government and public institutions in the Middle East through our EUTELSAT 21B satellite,” Aymeric Genty, President, Eutelsat’s Video Business Unit.
