Filmone Limited, a leading film production and distribution company, has appointed Ladun Awobokun as its Chief Content Officer. This move highlights Filmone’s dedication to strengthening its creative vision and maintaining its position as an industry leader in entertainment.

With a proven track record in strategic leadership, Awobokun has been instrumental in creating opportunities for filmmakers to showcase their work.

During her tenure as General Manager, she secured exclusive distribution rights in Anglophone West Africa for major Hollywood studios. Under her guidance, Filmone Limited distributed 90% of the top-grossing Nollywood films, including record-breaking titles like “A Tribe Called Judah,” “Wakanda Forever,” “Ajosepo,” and “King of Thieves.”

In her new role, Awobokun will oversee both company divisions’ creative direction, operations, and content strategy—Filmone Entertainment and Filmone Studios. She will focus on driving the development of high-quality, engaging content that resonates with local and international audiences.
