The UAE National Media Office has officially unveiled the BRIDGE Summit, set to take place in Abu Dhabi from December 8 to 10, 2025, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). This event aims to gather policymakers, creators, and innovators on a global stage to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Spanning an expansive area of over 1.65 million square feet, the BRIDGE Summit will feature six zones and seven content tracks, with an anticipated attendance of more than 60,000. This diverse gathering will include artists, producers, publishers, entrepreneurs, investors, and representatives from universities and research institutions. With an impressive lineup of over 400 international speakers and 300 exhibitors, the summit is poised to create one of the world’s largest media, content, and entertainment marketplaces.

Throughout the three days, attendees can look forward to over 300 activities, including 200 panel discussions, 50 workshops, and various interactive sessions. The summit aims to foster partnerships across sectors, develop new production ecosystems and value chains, and promote knowledge sharing among global industry leaders.

The BRIDGE Summit will cover the entire media and content landscape, encompassing sectors such as music, film, television, digital platforms, social media, publishing, and the performing arts. It will also spotlight emerging industries, such as gaming, augmented reality, and virtual reality, while incorporating elements of design and culture. Universities, research centres, and innovation hubs will significantly shape discussions and advance global standards.

Designed as a global “laboratory of ideas,” the summit aims to transform creative concepts into scalable projects, foster collaboration between regulators and the industry, and connect startups with financiers and distributors. Exhibition zones will showcase cutting-edge research, innovation, and artistic endeavours, while joint production labs and professional development initiatives will aim to establish unified industry standards and enhance competencies.

The seven thematic tracks will explore the future trajectory of the global media and entertainment industry. The Media Track will delve into evolving newsrooms and audience dynamics; the Creator Economy Track will evaluate monetisation strategies and platform tools; the Music Track will tackle digital production and rights management; and the Gaming Track will examine esports and immersive experiences. Additionally, the Tech Track will focus on advancements in AI and mixed reality; the Marketing Track will provide insights into consumer behaviour and brand storytelling; and the Picture Track will highlight visual storytelling through cinematic technology and cross-media narratives.

The BRIDGE Summit will produce lasting impacts beyond the event, fostering economic, social, cultural, and organisational growth. Economically, it aims to elevate the creative sector by transforming individual talents into sustainable enterprises while attracting investments that target the future. Socially, the summit will champion inclusion, diversity, and equal representation while promoting healthy competition in skill development. Culturally, it aspires to enhance creative output and embrace diversity as a fundamental aspect of artistic and civilisational advancement.

His Excellency Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the UAE National Media Office and the UAE Media Council, expressed that the BRIDGE Summit represents a transformative milestone for the global media and creative industries. He highlighted its role in redefining media and content as significant development drivers, strengthening national identity, and facilitating understanding between nations.

He further emphasised that the summit reinforces the value of content as essential national capital and a renewable resource for creativity and growth. In today’s climate, the influence of economies and technology is complemented by a society’s ability to generate impactful content. The BRIDGE Summit is not merely a convening of professionals; it’s a proactive step towards fostering a shared global consciousness that acknowledges the enduring influence of content on society, markets, and future developments.

H.E. concluded that the partnerships, initiatives, and joint ventures born from the BRIDGE Summit are poised to leave a lasting mark on the global creative landscape, positioning the UAE as a pivotal hub for positive influence and transformative initiatives.
