BBC Studios has announced that fans can expect the beloved character Bluey to join the Minecraft world on Thursday, February 5. This exciting collaboration marks the first time fans of both Bluey and Minecraft can come together to play, explore, and create in an immersive experience inspired by the popular animated series.
The new downloadable content (DLC), developed by Jigarbov in collaboration with BBC Studios and Ludo Studio, brings Bluey’s home to life in Minecraft’s interactive world. Players will have the chance to meet Bluey, her sister Bingo, and their parents as they revisit memorable moments from the series. As they explore the House, players can hunt for hidden keys, unlock new rooms, and uncover various areas guided by Bluey’s family.
Throughout their adventures, players can engage in fun activities and mini-games inspired by the series, such as I‑Spy, Hide and Seek, and Ragdoll. More games and surprises await as players discover Bluey and her family’s favourite items. This content can be enjoyed solo or with friends, offering a wealth of details and hidden features to uncover, including spaces beneath the House.
“Bringing Bluey to Minecraft provides fans with a brand-new way to connect with the franchise in a familiar environment,” said Marina Mello, BBC Studios’ global director of gaming and interactive. “This partnership exemplifies our commitment to innovating the ways our brands extend beyond the screen. Collaborating with Microsoft and Jigarbov allows us to explore interactive storytelling that feels natural to platforms like Minecraft, while staying true to the essence of what makes Bluey special.”
All players using Minecraft Bedrock can claim a free Chattermax Mask from the Minecraft marketplace until March 6, after which it will be available for purchase. Bluey’s House will be officially released worldwide on the Minecraft Marketplace on February 5.
