Sputnik And RT Join Colleagues At Africa’s Broadcast Convention 2024

With days before the start of the 8th edition of Africa’s Broadcast Convention 2024 on the 8th and 9th October 2024 at the Swakopmund Legacy Hotel in Namibia, organisers are happy to announce that Sputnik and RT will be the industry convention as partners.

Sputnik and RT, known for their diverse approaches to international journalism, will join the conference to discuss critical topics such as digital transformation and media’s role in the global South.

Stanley B. Similo, DG of Namibia Broadcasting Corporation, the event’s host, expressed his delight: “We’re happy to welcome Sputnik and RT to this year’s convention. Their unique global perspectives will add significant value to our discussions, allowing us to explore the shifting dynamics of media and broadcasting on an international scale.”
