Liquid Intelligent Technologies Uganda has introduced its first Microsoft Azure Stack offering, marking a significant milestone for local businesses seeking to leverage cloud solutions that comply with regulatory requirements. The move comes at a time when many African companies are embracing the benefits of cloud technology, such as scalability, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness.

By investing in Uganda’s inaugural Azure Stack hub, Liquid demonstrates its dedication to the country’s digital transformation. It actively supports the Uganda Digital Transformation Roadmap, aiming to connect 90% of Ugandan households to the Internet by 2040.

Michael Mukasa, CEO of Liquid Intelligent Technologies Uganda, expressed confidence in the Azure Stack hub’s game-changing impact on local businesses. He highlighted its role in providing cost-effective access to local cloud solutions, ensuring compliance with data regulations, and enabling the efficient operation of latency-sensitive business applications.

Liquid’s investment underscores its commitment to addressing diverse client needs and catering to companies of all sizes. Furthermore, the deployment of Microsoft Azure Stack in Uganda reflects the organization’s expertise in partnering with businesses for digital transformation. Mukasa emphasized that the Azure Stack deployment is poised to benefit large enterprises and facilitate cloud adoption among small and medium enterprises in Uganda through flexible adoption models.
