Uganda: NBS Sport Acquires Rights For Select UEFA European Football Championship 2024 Matches

In Uganda, NBS Sport, the leading 24/7 sports broadcasting channel, has secured broadcasting rights for select UEFA European Football Championship 2024 matches.

Under the terms of the agreement, NBS Sport will deliver live coverage of twelve matches, including the final, which is set to take place on July 14.

This comprehensive coverage will ensure that football fans in Uganda do not miss a moment of the action as Europe’s top national teams vie for supremacy on the pitch.

Speaking ahead of EURO 2024, NBS Sport General Manager Joe Kigozi expressed his excitement about the deal, stating, “We are thrilled to bring UEFA EURO 2024 to our viewers in Uganda. We remain dedicated to delivering top-quality sports content and further solidifying our position as the premier destination for sports enthusiasts across the nation.”

As the sole Ugandan channel broadcasting UEFA EURO 2024, NBS Sport is primed to provide comprehensive coverage, analysis, and commentary, ensuring that football fans are fully immersed in the tournament’s excitement.

The channel’s team of experienced commentators and analysts will provide expert insights and opinions, giving viewers a deeper understanding of the game.

This deal is a culmination of NBS Sport’s efforts to continue airing premium sports content, which has distinguished the channel as the home for premium sports content for Ugandans.

The acquisition of exclusive broadcast rights for the UEFA Europa League is a strategic move to further solidify this position. It will provide Ugandan football fans access to some of the best football tournaments in the world.

In addition to the UEFA EURO 2024, NBS Sport also offers coverage of other popular sports leagues and tournaments, including the National Basketball League and playoffs, the National Volleyball League, and the National Ludo League.
