Content Streaming And Podcasting Is The Spotlight Focus At The Upcoming Radio Broadcasters Convention – Africa In Johannesburg, South Africa

The landscape of radio broadcasting in Africa has undergone a seismic shift in recent years, with podcasting and content streaming reshaping how we produce, distribute and deliver content.  

The organisers of the forthcoming Radio and Digital Sound Broadcasting Summit – Africa, which will take place on the 18-19 June 2024 at The Venue – Green Park in Central Johannesburg, South Africa, have announced that it is crucial to delve into the challenges and opportunities that podcasting and OTT streaming present for traditional radio broadcasting and the industry professionals.

Podcasting has exploded in popularity, offering listeners unparalleled flexibility and variety in content consumption. From true crime to self-help, comedy to current affairs, podcasts cater to diverse interests and niche audiences. This surge in demand for on-demand audio presents both challenges and opportunities for traditional radio broadcasters.
