Broadcast Media Africa (BMA), in collaboration with the Southern Africa Broadcasting Association (SABA), is proud to announce the 5th Edition of the Radio And Digital Sound Broadcasting Summit—Africa 2024, to be held from Tuesday, 18 – Wednesday, 19 June 2024, in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Amidst the dynamic shifts in media platforms, radio broadcasting continues to serve as a vital source for information, education, and entertainment throughout Africa. Embracing digital technology in radio broadcasting has the potential to enhance content diversity and quality and broaden access to innovative radio services for a wider audience.

The event organisers invite all professionals and practitioners at the forefront of innovation and service delivery of radio content, applications and infrastructure to this premier industry summit, themed “Radio And Digital Sound: Leveraging Technology for Tailored Content Delivery.”

This landmark industry event will focus on providing broadcasters, platform owners, content publishers, streamers, distributors, regulators, and policymakers with up-to-date strategies on how digital sound and radio broadcasting in Africa can thrive and fulfil its boundless potential.

The high-profile gathering will showcase and evaluate current innovations in radio and digital sound content delivery, charting a path forward that aligns with the preferences and needs of modern listeners.
