Sony Pictures Television Studios has announced the appointment of two executives to its production leadership team. Dylan Massin has been named the new Executive Vice President of Production, while Adam Moos has been promoted to Head of Production Operations in addition to his role as Senior Vice President of Production. Both executives assumed their new positions on January 4, 2024.

As the new Executive Vice President of Production, Dylan Massin will oversee all physical production for the US scripted studio. He will manage pre-production, budgeting, and post-production teams for development and active production slates. Massin brings over 30 years of experience as a producer, with an extensive list of credits, including notable shows such as The West Wing, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and Star Trek: Picard. He will report directly to studio president Katherine Pope.

Adam Moos, who has been with Sony Pictures Television since 2014, will oversee all tech operations, budget estimating, and production support and set rentals as Head of Production Operations. Moos has overseen physical production on various action series such as The Boys, its spinoff Gen V, The Night Agent, and For All Mankind. He will report directly to Dylan Massin.

In a statement, Katherine Pope said, “Dylan is one of the most respected producers in the business, and I know he will bring his deep experience, drive for perfection and leadership to our shows, our teams, our showrunners and our partners.” Massin added, “I look forward to working with Katherine and her brilliant team at Sony Pictures Television Studios. People are the key to great television, and I am excited to work with everyone at Sony to make some great TV.”

Moos also expressed his excitement about these new challenges, saying, “I am excited to take on these new challenges alongside my remarkably talented Sony Pictures Television colleagues. We will optimize our dynamic production capabilities in this unique structure to best collaborate with our partners in an evolving emerging technology and innovation landscape.”
