Broadcast Operations And AI-Driven Automation To Be Explored At Cloud Broadcasting Summit – Africa 2026 In Lagos, Nigeria – Says Organisers

The accelerating impact of Automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) on broadcast operations will headline a key strategic session at the upcoming Cloud Broadcasting Summit – Africa 2026, taking place on 24–25 March 2026 in Lagos, Nigeria.

As Africa’s broadcasting industry navigates an era of rapid digital transformation, the integration of AI and cloud-based automation across Playout, Scheduling and Quality Control is fast becoming essential to achieving competitive advantage, operational efficiency and content excellence.

This pivotal session will explore how broadcasters are leveraging AI-driven technologies to streamline playout management, optimise programme scheduling, and implement intelligent quality control systems that significantly reduce human error, enhance compliance, and improve viewer experience — all within scalable cloud environments.

“Broadcasters across Africa are under pressure to deliver more content, on more platforms, at lower cost and higher quality,” said Mr Benjamin Pius, CEO of Broadcast Media Africa. “Automation and AI, when combined with cloud broadcasting, provide the operational agility and intelligence required to meet these demands.”

Delegates will hear case studies from global and regional technology leaders showcasing how cloud-native solutions are enabling broadcasters to move away from legacy infrastructure and embrace flexible, software-defined workflows that can expand rapidly with audience and business growth.

The session will also examine the business impact of automation — including reduced operational expenditure, faster time-to-air, improved disaster recovery, and the ability to launch new services with minimal capital investment.

The Cloud Broadcasting Summit – Africa 2026 will convene decision-makers from across the broadcasting, media and technology sectors, offering a collaborative platform for shaping the next chapter of Africa’s broadcast transformation.
