Broadcast Media Africa (BMA) is proud to announce the 2nd Edition of the Broadcast Media Awards, taking place on 25 October 2026 in Victoria, Mahé, Seychelles.

The prestigious awards will recognise and celebrate the outstanding individuals, organisations and initiatives contributing to the growth, innovation and transformation of Africa’s broadcast and digital media industry.

Following the success of its inaugural edition, the 2nd Edition of the Broadcast Media Awards returns as a platform dedicated to recognising excellence across Africa’s increasingly dynamic media landscape. The awards will bring together broadcasters, media executives, content creators, technology providers, platforms and industry leaders for an evening celebrating the achievements shaping the future of African media.

From broadcasting and content production to digital platforms, technology, audience engagement, and innovation, the awards will spotlight those demonstrating exceptional leadership and impact within the industry.

Benjamin Pius, CEO of Broadcast Media Africa, said, “The second edition of the Broadcast Media Awards is an opportunity to celebrate the remarkable talent, innovation and leadership that continues to drive Africa’s media industry forward. As our industry evolves, we must recognise those who are not only adapting to change but actively shaping the future.”

The awards come at a pivotal time for Africa’s media sector, with rapid developments in streaming, artificial intelligence, cloud broadcasting, digital platforms and changing audience behaviours creating new opportunities and challenges for the industry.

“The Broadcast Media Awards are about more than recognition,” Pius added. “They are about celebrating the people and organisations making a meaningful contribution to Africa’s media ecosystem and inspiring greater excellence across the continent.”

The 2nd Edition of the Broadcast Media Awards will be presented on 25 October 2026 in Victoria, Mahé, Seychelles, bringing together the industry’s leading professionals for an evening of recognition, celebration and networking.
