TVU Networks To Broadcast Live From The Show Floor At Mediatech Africa 2026

For three days at Mediatech Africa 2026, the exhibition floor at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit will double as a working live broadcast studio. TVU Networks, in collaboration with distribution partner Icily Live and Mediatech Africa, will run “Mediatech Africa Live | Powered by TVU Networks” from a dedicated broadcast pod in Hall 1 across all three days of the show, 30 June to 2 July.

The activation turns the exhibition floor into a working live studio. The production runs entirely on TVU’s cloud and IP workflow. Cameras on the show floor feed into TVU Packs and TVU Anywhere mobile apps, capturing interviews, product demonstrations and conversations as they happen. TVU Producer, TVU’s cloud production switcher, handles the live mix in real time, before TVU Channel runs the finished stream as a live channel across Mediatech Africa’s YouTube, social media platforms, and screens throughout the venue. No satellite uplink. No outside broadcast truck. Just the same end-to-end TVU workflow used to power some of the world’s biggest live events, running from a compact pod on the exhibition floor.

Exhibitors at Mediatech Africa are invited to take part. By booking a 20-minute slot, companies can showcase their teams, solutions, and stories to a far wider audience, including industry professionals who follow the show and are unable to attend in person. Booking is straightforward: exhibitors choose a day and time across 30 June to 2 July, share what they would like to cover, and the TVU and Icily Live production teams handle the rest. Slots are limited across the three days.

Dheshnie Naidoo, Regional Director, Africa at TVU Networks, said: “Mediatech Africa is where the continent’s media and broadcast community comes together, so it is the perfect place to show what live IP production makes possible. Rather than simply exhibiting, we wanted to go live and put the technology to work in front of everyone. Inviting exhibitors onto the show gives the whole floor a platform and reflects how we see the future of live content in Africa: open, connected and built on collaboration.”

Alongside the live broadcast, visitors can meet the TVU team at Stand B16 to see its live cloud and IP solutions first hand and book a one-to-one meeting. TVU will also deliver a session, “The Hybrid Future of Live Distribution: Satellite + IP Lessons for African Media,” on 30 June at 15:30 in Presentation Zone 1, Level 2 of Hall 1.
