Media City Qatar has proudly announced a Platinum Partnership with the International Association for MediaTech (IAMT), a strategic initiative aimed at boosting global collaboration, fostering innovation, and facilitating dialogue within the media industry across diverse international markets.

This partnership exemplifies Media City Qatar’s aspirations to establish itself as a premier regional centre for media and content creation by connecting local opportunities with international expertise. As part of the agreement, Media City Qatar will enhance its global visibility via IAMT’s digital platforms and prominent industry events scheduled throughout 2026.

Key events include significant gatherings such as the IBC in the Netherlands, NAB Show in the United States, Integrated Systems Europe in Spain, CABSAT in the UAE, BroadcastAsia in Singapore, and Inter BEE in Japan. Participation in these high-profile platforms is expected to raise awareness of Qatar’s burgeoning media ecosystem and strengthen its standing within key global industry networks.

In addition to increased visibility, the partnership aims to support long-term sector development by providing access to IAMT’s training programs and knowledge-sharing initiatives. These programs are designed to nurture leadership skills, enhance professional development, and strengthen overall industry capacity, aligning seamlessly with Media City Qatar’s vision of a forward-thinking media landscape.

Hamad Omar A. Al-Mannai, CEO of Media City Qatar, remarked on the significance of this partnership: “We believe this collaboration cements Media City Qatar’s role as a bridge between regional ambitions and global industry expertise. By leveraging IAMT’s influential platforms and events, we are broadening access to critical networks, insights, and visibility that will benefit our licensed entities and attract new international media, content creation, and technology companies to our shores, reinforcing Qatar’s status as a key regional hub for growth and cooperation, in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030.”

Saleha Williams, CEO of IAMT, stated: “At IAMT, we are evolving alongside the industry we serve, extending our reach beyond traditional broadcasting to encompass the entire MediaTech ecosystem—from technology providers to end users. Media City Qatar is a vibrant and rapidly developing hub within this global framework, where a clear vision for innovation and sustained development prevails. This partnership lays the groundwork for new opportunities by linking regional growth with global expertise, allowing companies to tap into emerging markets, forge strategic alliances, and proactively shape the future of the MediaTech industry.”

With over 500 licensed companies ranging from innovative startups to established global players, Media City Qatar remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering international collaboration and solidifying its role as a globally connected nexus for media and technology advancement.
