Meta To Boost Earnings For Content Creators With ‘Creator Fast Track’ Programme

Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, has announced the launch of a new initiative called ‘Creator Fast Track’ aimed at empowering content creators to enhance their audience reach and increase their earnings.

In a blog post published on Wednesday, the company outlined its plan to help established creators expand their footprint on Facebook while monetising their content more effectively.

“Creator Fast Track is a new program crafted to accelerate creators’ growth and success on Facebook through guaranteed earnings and enhanced exposure,” stated Meta.

The program promises eligible creators greater visibility for their video content, especially reels, enabling them to grow their follower base faster. Participants will benefit from guaranteed monthly payments over a three-month period, which will vary based on their follower count on other platforms.

Creators boasting a minimum of 100,000 followers on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube can earn up to US$1,000 a month, while those with over one million followers stand to gain as much as US$3,000 monthly.

Beyond the earnings from the Creator Fast Track program, Meta noted that participants will gain instant access to Facebook Content Monetisation, enabling them to continue earning from their eligible content even after the program concludes.

Meta disclosed that in 2025, Facebook paid out nearly US$3 billion to content creators, marking a 35% increase from the previous year and the highest annual payout in its history. A significant portion of these earnings was attributed to short-form video content, with reels accounting for about 60% of total payouts, and the remainder from stories, photos, and text posts.

To enhance transparency for creators, Meta is also rolling out new performance metrics. These include “qualified views” for monetisation eligibility, “earnings rate” to estimate revenue per 1,000 views, and “non-qualified views” to clarify why some views do not generate income.

While access to the monetisation program is invite-only, Meta encourages interested creators to express their interest via the professional dashboard on the Facebook mobile app.
