South Africa: Cell C Unites Nine Radio Stations For A Nationwide Broadcast Celebrating Unstoppable Connectivity

In an innovative approach, nine radio stations united for a simultaneous broadcast from various locations across the nation — spanning busy city centres, serene coastal areas, secluded mountain spots, and hidden gems. This is not merely a stunt or a promotional tactic; it is a demonstration of commitment in action.

As the festive season nears, families are gearing up to explore the beauty of our country, and Cell C seeks to showcase that their network accompanies users wherever they go — from urban hubs to the most remote locales.

On Friday, October 24th, this ambitious broadcast will serve as evidence of that commitment. Over the span of three hours, nine diverse locations will come alive with live radio, authentically illustrating what “unstoppable coverage” truly means.

Cell C bases its assurance on tangible results. The network has received accolades for providing excellent streaming and gaming services in South Africa and ranks among the top for reliability. These achievements are not just industry recognition; they form the foundation of a network dedicated to keeping South Africans connected to what matters most, wherever they may be.

Throughout the broadcast, listeners can expect a strong signal across all participating locations, including urban, remote, coastal, and mountainous areas. Popular radio hosts from stations such as 5FM, 947, Metro FM, ECR, Gagasi FM, Heart FM, and others will share their experiences live, reinforcing that with Cell C, one can embrace adventure without sacrificing connection.

This festive season, Cell C wants all South Africans to experience the freedom they demonstrated on October 24th. Whether hitting the road, exploring coastal areas, visiting family across different provinces, or simply relaxing at home, Cell C is committed to keeping you close to what matters in your life.

To assure consumers of its coverage, Cell C offers its “Try Before You Buy” program, which allows people to experience the network for free for 14 days — including 5GB of data and 60 minutes of calls on the same SIM. Users can easily download an eSIM online or acquire a physical SIM from any Cell C store.

This broadcast marks the launch of the ‘Escape the City, Not the Signal’ summer campaign — a slogan that encapsulates what Cell C strives to deliver: the freedom to enjoy life’s adventures without compromise.

As South Africans tune in from 6:00 to 9:00, Cell C aims to show that adventure and connectivity can go hand in hand.
