Africa24 Group, a prominent media conglomerate and broadcaster of four high-definition television channels, has formed a partnership with the Ivorian Mixed Martial Arts Federation (FIMMA) to promote and broadcast MMA content across Côte d’Ivoire and the broader African continent.

This collaboration aims to highlight emerging talent in the sport by featuring exclusive athletes, providing dedicated programming for MMA competitions, and promoting core values such as discipline, respect, self-improvement, and inclusion. With its significant broadcast reach, Africa24 is poised to play a transformative role in elevating African MMA on the global stage.

Under this partnership, Africa24 Sport—the only 24/7 sports news and competition channel in Africa—will provide exclusive coverage of MMA events, along with magazine-style programming, expert commentary, and thorough analysis from experienced journalists. Fans can also access exclusive footage through replays, thereby broadening the sport’s reach throughout the continent.

Constant Nemale, Founder and President of Africa24 Group, expressed his enthusiasm: “This agreement with the Ivorian MMA Federation marks a significant advancement for sports enthusiasts across Africa. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality content through an accessible platform. This initiative will greatly benefit all sports, national federations, and Olympic committees throughout Africa, fostering visibility and exposure for every sport across the continent.”

Jackson Parfait TAPÉ, President of the Ivorian MMA Federation, remarked on the rapid evolution of MMA in Côte d’Ivoire, highlighting the sport’s growth due to a robust organisational structure and momentum: “I foresee a promising future for MMA, not just in Côte d’Ivoire but throughout Africa.”

Guillaume BEDA, Vice President of the Ivorian MMA Federation, added: “Global visibility is essential for MMA, and this partnership with Africa24 Sport is designed to effectively showcase a sport that is gaining traction and expanding in our nation.”

The Ivorian MMA Federation has embraced this collaboration, viewing it as a significant catalyst for growth and recognition in the sport.

This initiative aligns seamlessly with Africa24 Group’s broader commitment to youth development and its vision of nurturing Africa’s potential as a hub for emerging sports talent. By amplifying the visibility and professionalism of MMA, Africa24 reaffirms its crucial role in the evolution of sports media in Africa.

With Africa24 leading the coverage, MMA enthusiasts throughout the continent can eagerly anticipate engaging, comprehensive programming that highlights the best of African combat sports talent.
