Maggi is gearing up to premiere its new Ramadan-themed television series, “Tales of Ramadan.” This engaging six-part series will be broadcast across various terrestrial and cable TV stations in Nigeria, including Zee World, Africa Magic, and NTA.

Produced by Conceptified Media under the direction of accomplished filmmakers Josh Olaoluwa and Orire Nwani, the series is set in Northern Nigeria. It thoughtfully explores the lives of diverse families, focusing on themes of family, friendship, and the culinary delights of Ramadan, thus offering a rich and heartfelt narrative.

Directed by Orire Nwani and captured by acclaimed cinematographer Davidson’ Fedworks’ Edeogu, “Tales of Ramadan” is scheduled to start airing on March 1, 2025, across ten Nigerian TV stations. The production team includes Josh Olaoluwa, Ifeoluwa Fatogun, and Hope Eniayekan, with a screenplay penned by Tomi Folowosele.

With a talented cast featuring Uzee Usman, Ummi Baba Ahmed, Ijapari Ben-Hirki, and Adam Garba, the series promises to provide viewers an engaging and memorable experience.

This project follows the recent local and international acclaim enjoyed by the duo, including recognition from esteemed organizations such as Film Independent, Venice Film Festival, Torino Film Lab, Red Sea Foundation, and Slamdance, among others.

Orire Nwani is celebrated for his award-winning film “Love and Seclusion,” the popular YouTube drama series “All of Us,” the AMVCA-nominated “T’egbon T’aburo,” and Amazon Prime’s “Grind.”
