The Viu video streaming service has announced a strategic partnership with Kagiso Media’s Mediamark, designating it as its new sales partner in South Africa.

With this collaboration, Mediamark will take the lead in driving sales for Viu’s advertising-video-on-demand (AVOD) platform.

Elouise Kelly, the country manager for Viu South Africa, expressed her enthusiasm about this partnership, referring to it as an exciting new chapter for both companies. She highlighted Mediamark’s reputation as a well-established player in the market, demonstrating a consistent ability to assist brands and businesses in achieving profitable growth. “Their strong relationships with media agencies inspire confidence, allowing us to explore exciting and effective strategies for reaching new audiences,” Kelly stated.

Furthermore, she emphasized that the combination of Mediamark’s expertise with Viu’s in-depth market knowledge will provide advertisers with valuable opportunities to connect with diverse audiences across South Africa in a meaningful way. “This partnership represents a strategic advancement for our company. Mediamark’s optimism regarding the potential growth of the media industry aligns perfectly with our confidence in the market landscape,” she concluded, expressing excitement about delivering enhanced value and results for the brands they collaborate with.
