“We Are Gearing Up For Upcoming Africa’s Broadcasters Convention 2024 In Swakopmund, Namibia” – Organisers Say

The highly anticipated 8th Broadcast and Digital Media Convention, scheduled from October 8th to 10th, 2024, at the prestigious Swakopmund Legacy Hotel in Namibia, is set to draw a diverse mix of high-level executives from the broadcast media industry, regulators, digital innovators, content creators, and senior executives from across the African continent.

Hosted by the Namibia Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) and convened by Broadcast Media Africa (BMA) and the Southern African Broadcasting Association (SABA), this year’s event’s theme is Broadcasting and Content Publishing In The AI-Infused Digital Ecosystem. The industry convention will spotlight digital transformation, including infrastructure development, content creation, audience engagement, and regulatory and policy development matters.

Commenting, Mr Benjmin Pius, CEO and Publisher of BMA, said, “The Africa Broadcasters’ Convention is the main platform on the continent for strategic and operational conversations, learnings, and unparalleled networking opportunities with industry players. The event will showcase key technologies, solutions, and innovations in the broadcasting and digital media sectors, and we welcome all to be part of this transformative journey.”
