Airtel Digital TV has announced a partnership with Amazon Prime to introduce new Ultimate and Amazon Prime Lite plans. Subscribers to these plans will have access to live TV and Prime Video on two HD-quality devices alongside linear TV channels.

The Prime Lite subscription includes additional Prime benefits such as free unlimited same-day delivery on thousands of products and early access to sale events and Lightning Deals.

Siddharth Sharma, CEO of Airtel Digital TV, expressed excitement about the expansion of their TV offerings to meet the growing demand for mobile entertainment. The partnership with Amazon Prime aims to enhance its content lineup and provide customers access to a diverse range of home entertainment services anytime, anywhere. The plans start at an affordable price of US$5.59 for Hindi content.

Shilangi Mukherji, director and head of Prime Video’s SVoD business, highlighted the collaboration’s goal of making Prime Video’s content even more accessible to a wider audience. The partnership with Airtel Digital TV aims to provide seamless access to Prime Video’s full selection of content and Prime Lite’s shopping and shipping benefits.

Airtel also aims to elevate home entertainment by offering unlimited access to 350+ TV channels and OTT content available on Prime Video. Subscribers can enjoy uninterrupted access to a wide range of content, including popular Original series and blockbuster movies, as well as international series and movies.
