The Broadcast And Digital Media Convention – Africa 2024, a premier event for media and broadcasting professionals across the continent, has announced Intelsat’s participation as a Strategic Partner for this year’s summit.

The flagship industry gathering, set to take place from 8th to 10th October 2024 at the Swakopmund Legacy Hotel in Namibia, will be hosted by the Namibia Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) and is convened by Broadcast Media Africa (BMA) and the Southern African Broadcasting Association (SABA).

This event, as always, brings together key stakeholders, industry leaders, and experts from across Africa and beyond, delving into the latest developments, trends, and challenges in the broadcasting and digital media sectors.

Commenting on Intelsat’s participation as a strategic partner for this industry event, Mr Benjamin Pius, CEO of Broadcast Media Africa (BMA), said: “We are thrilled to welcome Intelsat to this year Africa’s Broadcasters Convention. Intelsat’s commitment to advancing broadcasting and audio-visual connectivity across Africa aligns perfectly with the objectives of our convention, which seeks to explore and promote sustainable and innovative solutions for the industry.

“Intelsat’s involvement underscores the importance of collaboration and shared vision in building a vibrant, sustainable, and future-ready broadcasting and digital media ecosystem in Africa”.
