Broadcast Media Africa has learnt that Radio Africa Group has officially launched Songa Play, a new streaming platform to revolutionise how Kenyans consume media.

The platform promises to offer diverse content, including music, podcasts, radio shows, and exclusive audio and video content from local and international artists.

Songa Play is designed to cater to Kenyan audiences’ evolving tastes and preferences, providing a seamless user experience across various devices.

With a vast library of songs spanning multiple genres, users can enjoy personalised playlists, curated by expert DJs and music enthusiasts.

Additionally, the platform includes a unique feature that allows listeners to tune into live radio broadcasts from Radio Africa Group’s popular stations, such as Kiss FM, Classic 105, and Radio Jambo.

The CEO of Radio Africa Group, Martin Khafafa, expressed excitement about the platform.

“I am thrilled to announce that Songa Play is finally here! Songa Play is a FREE platform that allows you to stream your favourite Radio Africa Group stations, shows, music mixes and podcasts from Kenya and around the world,” said Khafafa.

“Whether you want to catch the highlights of the morning conversation, the laughter, joys and tears from your favourite radio station segments, or listen to live music mixes, Songa Play is your go-to source for world-class information and entertainment.”

With its user-friendly interface, Songa Play aims to attract a wide audience, offering an accessible, high-quality streaming experience.

The launch marks a significant step in Radio Africa Group’s digital transformation journey, positioning it as a key player in the competitive streaming market.
