Candle Media-owned children’s entertainment company Moonbug Entertainment has launched its second linear channel, Blippi & Friends, in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The 24/7 channel, distributed by Integral on Jawwy TV and STC TV, is aimed at children aged four to eight and features a daily segment tailored to younger pre-schoolers.
Blippi & Friends offers a diverse lineup of shows, including Blippi Visits, Blippi Draws, and the Blippi Game Show. The channel also features popular franchises like Meekah and the special Big Dino Adventure. Additionally, the channel showcases beloved shows such as CoComelon, Little Angel, and Arpo in its daily segment for pre-schoolers.
The channel is available on Intigral’s streaming platforms, extending its reach across Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Nicolas Eglau, Managing Director of EMEA, APAC, and Global Distribution at Moonbug Entertainment, expressed excitement about the launch. He stressed the channel’s local focus and aimed to enrich family routines by celebrating regional holidays and moments. Moonbug Entertainment, known for its success on YouTube, introduced its first linear pay TV channel in South Africa in 2022.
