Africa Magic has had a productive year in 2023, surpassing its accomplishments from the previous year by releasing unique and original content. The broadcast company has recently greenlit four new shows for the New Year, including Unscripted, The Theory of Breakfast, Hook, Line and Sinkah, and Man Friend.

The Theory of Breakfast, a romantic drama with interlocking love tales, premiered on January 1. The show follows two best friends caught up in unusual events leading to a wedding. New episodes are available every Monday and Thursday at 8 pm on Africa Magic Showcase.

Hook, Line and Sinkah, which debuts on January 3, is a story about three young half-brothers: Ugo, Sodiq, and Kenny Jacobson. The series showcases the challenges, humour, and uncertainties surrounding the three young men as they strive to prove their manliness and responsibility to their father, who has tasked them with overseeing one of his properties and working in his company. While living together, issues of misogyny, male chauvinism, and toxic masculinity are raised. The show airs every Wednesday at 8:30 pm on Africa Magic Showcase.

Unscripted, which premieres on January 3, adopts the style of a popular reality show reunion full of drama, chaos, and constantly changing “ships”. The show features a star-studded cast, including Wumi Tuase, Ajayi Akorede (The Korexx), Martha Ehinome, Bobby Ekpe, Shalewa Ashafa, Debby Felix, Eby Eno, and more. It will come up every Wednesday at 9 pm on Africa Magic Showcase.

Man Friend is a family drama set in a bustling city that promises to hold the attention of the African audience. The show premieres on January 5 and will be shown every Friday on Africa Magic Showcase.

Africa Magic has promised to entertain its eclectic audience further with other promising series across its channels besides the aforementioned shows.
