The upcoming Radio And Digital Sound Broadcasting Summit, set to take place in the vibrant city of Johannesburg, South Africa, from 18th to 19th June 2024, promises to be a pivotal event for industry leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts alike.

With the theme “Radio And Digital Sound – Using Technology To Deliver Content Listeners Want,” the summit aims to explore the intersection of traditional radio and cutting-edge digital sound technologies in meeting the evolving demands of modern audiences.

In recent years, the rise of digital platforms and streaming services has challenged traditional radio broadcasting. Yet, rather than being displaced, radio has adapted and embraced digital innovations to remain relevant and engaging. The summit will serve as a platform to delve into how radio broadcasters leverage technology to enhance their content offerings and connect with their audiences on a deeper level.

Organised by this platform, BMA, in collaboration with the Southern Africa Broadcasting Association (SABA), the summit will feature interactive discussions and demonstrations showcasing the latest advancements in radio and digital sound technologies. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with industry experts, share best practices, and network with like-minded professionals, fostering collaboration and innovation within the broadcasting community.

The Radio And Digital Sound Broadcasting Summit presents a unique opportunity for stakeholders to come together and explore the transformative potential of technology in radio broadcasting. By embracing digital innovations and adapting to changing listener preferences, broadcasters can continue to captivate audiences and remain a cornerstone of media consumption in the digital age. Join us in Johannesburg this June to be a part of this exciting journey towards the future of radio and digital sound.
