This platform and our partners at the Southern Africa Broadcasters Association (SABA) are thrilled to announce that the upcoming Radio and Digital Sound Broadcasting Summit—Africa 2024 will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa, on June 18th and 19th, 2024.

In its 5th edition, the industry convention, which will focus on “Using Technology To Deliver Content That Listeners Want,” will bring industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders together to explore the dynamic shift from traditional broadcasting to digital platforms. The landscape of radio broadcasting is undergoing a profound transformation, propelled by the relentless march of digital technology.

The summit presents a timely opportunity to delve into the myriad facets of digital transformation, reshaping the radio industry and unlocking new opportunities while navigating the challenges that lie ahead.

Speaking about the event, Mr Benjamin Pius, CEO And Publisher of this platform, said, “Embracing digital transformation is no longer a choice but a necessity for radio broadcasters seeking to remain relevant in an increasingly competitive landscape. By harnessing the power of digital platforms, radio stations can engage audiences in novel ways, personalise content delivery, and forge deeper connections with listeners.”

The Radio and Digital Sound Broadcasting industry meeting serves as a beacon for industry stakeholders navigating the transformative currents reshaping the radio landscape. Radio broadcasters can chart a course towards a vibrant, sustainable future in the digital age by embracing digital innovation, fostering collaboration, and prioritising audience engagement.
