AdArabia, a digital advertising solutions provider specialising in premium video content, has launched its HbbTV advertising solutions in the MENA region. According to reports, AdArabia is the first and only advertising solutions provider to activate HbbTV in MENA, revolutionising the Linear TV advertising arena across the region.

HbbTV, which stands for Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV, is a protocol that seamlessly merges broadcast TV with broadband internet, providing interactive services and personalised content delivery directly to viewers’ television sets. By harnessing the power of HbbTV, AdArabia empowers advertisers to engage with traditional TV audiences in impactful ways, leveraging digital metrics for measurable results.

Nisrine Ghazal, Founder and CEO of AdArabia, said, “Our launch of HbbTV advertising solutions represents a pivotal advancement for the linear TV advertising industry in MENA. With HbbTV, we unlock unprecedented opportunities for advertisers to digitally connect with viewers, driving engagement and delivering measurable outcomes on linear TV channels—a feat previously unattainable and a driving force behind the migration of many traditional TV advertisers.”

AdArabia’s HbbTV technology is bolstered by Anixe.net, a provider of HbbTV solutions. Leveraging Anixe.net’s expertise and cutting-edge technology ensures seamless integration and optimal performance of AdArabia’s HbbTV advertising solutions.

Emmanouil Lapidakis, CEO of Anixe.net, added, “We are thrilled to collaborate with AdArabia to introduce HbbTV advertising solutions to the MENA region. Together, we are setting new standards for interactive TV advertising, delivering enhanced value to advertisers and broadcasters alike.”

In addition to its HbbTV initiatives, AdArabia has chosen SpringServe as its ad-serving partner. The company plans to unveil its SSP partnerships in the future, providing clients with access to programmatic TV inventory for targeted advertising campaigns.
