TikTok MENA has announced the second edition of its Creator Hub program, which fosters and showcases women-led businesses in the region. The program will feature a competition format, providing a platform for participants to showcase their entrepreneurial skills, talents, and contributions to the business world.

Susanne Mikhail Eldhagen, UN Women Regional Director for the Arab States region, expressed her excitement about the initiative, saying, “We’re proud to collaborate with TikTok on this empowering journey. Together, we are working towards helping women-led businesses flourish in the MENA region, making a significant impact in the world of entrepreneurship.”

TikTok will use the hashtag #HerAmbitions to promote the Creator Hub initiative, highlighting women’s invaluable role in business. Female entrepreneurs in the MENA region are encouraged to share their stories, inspire others, and become part of a supportive community celebrating women in business.

Through the program, participants will receive guidance, advice, and insights from successful female leaders to enhance their entrepreneurial skills.

Kinda Ibrahim, General Manager of Operations at TikTok Middle East, Turkey, Africa, Pakistan, and South Asia, says, “The #HerAmbitions campaign will recognize women’s incredible role in the business landscape.”

The second edition of the TikTok Creator Hub program will take place in three stages. Phase 1 will begin in-app, with participants sharing an elevator pitch of their business, allowing TikTok users to vote for their favourite entrepreneurs. Phase 2 will feature live workshops and panels, showcasing members of the judging panel. The grand finale stage will include a closing ceremony in February in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where finalists will showcase their businesses for a competition overseen by the judging panel. Winners will receive monetary prizes, with the first-place winner awarded US$10,000 and the second and third places receiving US$5,000.
