Broadcast Media Africa (BMA) is pleased to announce VIORY as a key industry partner for the Broadcasters Convention – West Africa 2026, taking place on 22–23 September 2026 at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana.

As broadcasters across West Africa navigate a rapidly changing media environment, the need for reliable content, flexible distribution solutions and new approaches to delivering news and video to audiences has never been greater. VIORY’s involvement adds an important international perspective to these conversations.

The partnership will contribute to the convention’s broader focus on the transformation of African broadcasting and the opportunities emerging from the convergence of traditional broadcast, digital media, streaming and online video.

The two-day convention will bring together senior broadcasters, media executives, technology leaders, content producers, regulators and other industry stakeholders to discuss the forces reshaping the region’s media landscape.

Key discussions will explore how broadcasters can adapt to changing audience behaviour, embrace new technologies, strengthen content strategies, expand digital distribution and develop sustainable business models in an increasingly competitive media environment.

“VIORY’s partnership with the Broadcasters Convention – West Africa 2026 comes at an important time for the region’s media industry,” said Benjamin Pius, CEO of Broadcast Media Africa. “Broadcasters are no longer competing only within the traditional television and radio environment. They are operating across multiple platforms and reaching audiences who expect content to be available wherever and whenever they choose.”

He added: “Bringing organisations such as VIORY into the conversation allows African broadcasters to engage with international expertise and explore new possibilities around content, news and distribution. We are pleased to welcome VIORY to Accra.”

VIORY’s participation will further support the convention’s objective of creating a platform where African media organisations can connect with global industry players, exchange knowledge and identify practical opportunities for collaboration and innovation.

For broadcasters and media organisations across West Africa, the convention will provide an opportunity to examine not only the technological changes taking place across the industry, but also how these changes can translate into better content, wider reach, stronger audience relationships and sustainable commercial growth.

The Broadcasters Convention – West Africa 2026 will take place on 22–23 September 2026 at the Labadi Beach Hotel, Accra, Ghana, bringing together the region’s broadcasting and media community for two days of strategic discussions, industry insights and networking.
