Netflix has appointed Katie Martin Kelley as its new Vice President of Film Communications, putting her in charge of communications for the streaming company’s feature film business.

Martin Kelley will oversee communications across Netflix’s live-action, documentary and animation slate. She will take up the role on September 8 and report to Chief Communications Officer Dani Dudeck.

She takes over from Emily Feingold, who previously led film communications at Netflix before leaving the company after eight years.

Martin Kelley joins Netflix from Warner Bros., where she has been Executive Vice President of Communications since 2023.

Her appointment brings more than 20 years of experience in Hollywood communications and publicity, including work with major studios and filmmakers.

Dudeck welcomed Martin Kelley to Netflix, pointing to her experience across the entertainment industry and her work with major studios and high-profile filmmakers. She said that experience will be particularly useful as Netflix continues to grow its international film slate.

Dudeck joined Netflix in late 2025 and has been building out the company’s communications leadership team. The team includes Kelly Pakula, who oversees global corporate communications; Oliver Rawlins for EMEA; Flávia Vigio for Latin America; and Joy Albert for APAC.

Netflix is also looking to appoint a Vice President of Communications for its series division. The role will cover television as well as podcasts, games, live events and sports.

Chairman Dan Lin leads the company’s film division and continues to expand across a range of genres and formats. Recent Netflix releases include the science-fiction adventure War Machine, the action thriller The Rip, and the romantic comedy Voicemails for Isabelle.

Martin Kelley’s arrival comes as Netflix continues to build its film business and strengthen the communications structure supporting its growing slate of theatrical and streaming releases, documentaries and animated projects.
