MBC Group has broadened its entertainment offerings with the introduction of MBC MOOD, a fresh music-centric channel that delivers a contemporary Arab music experience across television, digital platforms, and social media, encapsulated in its slogan “Aa’la Moodak.”

Designed as a holistic entertainment hub, MBC MOOD reflects the evolving landscape of the music industry by blending modern artistic content with cutting-edge programming and active digital interaction. As a versatile music brand, MBC MOOD transcends conventional television, reaching audiences through online streaming services, digital channels, and engaging social media platforms.

The channel commenced broadcasting on June 1 via Arabsat at 11270, offering a 24-hour schedule of Arabic music and entertainment. Viewers can enjoy a variety of content, including music videos, new releases, arts shows, and a mix of live and recorded concerts showcasing talent from across the region.

In addition to spotlighting established Arab artists, MBC MOOD is dedicated to promoting emerging talents, providing a stage for the next generation of musicians and entertainers. The channel is designed to foster a strong connection with viewers through interactive content and sustained engagement across various platforms.

Ziad Hamza, Group Director of Audio and Music at MBC Group, shared his excitement about the launch, stating: “Today, we celebrate the birth of a new brand in music, television, and digital entertainment. MBC MOOD distinguishes itself with its rich content, youthful energy, dynamic programming, and modern approach, all while honouring the region’s cultural roots and resonating with the preferences of viewers and listeners from all backgrounds.”

This launch represents MBC Group’s ongoing commitment to investing in music and digital entertainment, as broadcasters increasingly strive to engage audiences through integrated, multi-platform experiences that marry traditional television with online and social media.
