Broadcast Media Africa, the organisers of the upcoming Broadcasters Convention – East Africa 2026, are pleased to announce Viory as a Strategic Partner for the highly anticipated industry gathering taking place from 26 – 28 May 2026 at the Emara Ole-Sereni in Nairobi, Kenya.

The partnership highlights Viory’s growing engagement with Africa’s evolving broadcasting and digital media ecosystem, as industry leaders across the continent continue to embrace innovation, digital transformation, and new approaches to audience engagement and content delivery.

As a global media and news platform focused on impactful storytelling and international content distribution, Viory continues to expand its presence in emerging media markets by supporting conversations that drive collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and industry development. Its participation in the convention is expected to contribute significantly to discussions around the future of journalism, digital broadcasting, multimedia storytelling, and the role of technology in modern media operations.

The convention will bring together broadcasters, newsroom leaders, content creators, regulators, technology companies, telecom operators, streaming platforms, and media innovators from across East Africa and beyond to explore the trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping the industry’s future.

Through this strategic partnership, Viory reinforces its commitment to supporting the growth of Africa’s media sector by encouraging stronger industry collaboration, greater access to global perspectives, and wider engagement around the digital future of broadcasting and news media.

The convention will feature discussions on AI and media, content monetisation, newsroom transformation, streaming technologies, broadcast infrastructure, audience behaviour, regulatory developments, and the growing convergence between traditional broadcasting and digital-first media platforms.

Broadcast Media Africa welcomes the partnership, noting that Viory’s involvement reflects the growing importance of global media collaboration in shaping sustainable, future-ready broadcasting ecosystems across Africa.

With the African media industry undergoing rapid change, the partnership between the convention and Viory is expected to create new opportunities for engagement, visibility, and strategic dialogue among key industry stakeholders.
