CABSAT, the leading broadcast show in the MEASA region, has announced new dates for its upcoming event, now set for October 5–7, 2026, which allows exhibitors ample time to organise and manage logistics for shipping their products to Dubai efficiently. The venue remains the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai, which will serve as the show’s home moving forward.
In conjunction with CABSAT 2026, the BroadcastPro Manufacturer Awards will be celebrated on October 6, with the specific venue still to be confirmed.
The move to Expo City Dubai promises an updated floor plan. Designed for large-scale international exhibitions, the Dubai Exhibition Centre offers modern infrastructure, enhanced visitor flow, and effortless access to hotels, restaurants, and public transport via the Dubai Metro. Nestled within an innovation-focused district, the venue provides an impressive backdrop for an industry in constant transformation through technology and collaboration.
A standout feature of this year’s event will be the reintroduction of virtual production, with a dedicated exhibition area showcasing the entire ecosystem of real-time production technology. Featuring a fully operational virtual production set, this zone brings together top software and hardware providers to deliver comprehensive solutions, allowing visitors to engage with leading international brands redefining the future of broadcasting and content creation.
Content remains central to CABSAT through the established Content Congress, a key program element known for its influential speakers and relevant discussions on pressing industry issues. Topics will include digital transformation, immersive content, cloud adoption, AI integration, and interactive sports broadcasting, attracting senior decision-makers, creatives, and technologists seeking actionable insights.
This year introduces new features, including the Micro Short Drama Clinic, a specialised two-day program developed in collaboration with Whitebee Media. Geared towards Arabic audiences, this initiative delves into the art of vertical, bite-sized storytelling through hands-on sessions led by experienced practitioners of successful micro-drama projects.
The exhibitor lineup is expanding to include notable new international names like Nordlys from Denmark, Shotoku from the UK, Coblat from the USA, and Workflowlabs from India.
To summarise, CABSAT will take place from October 5–7, 2026, at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, with event hours from 10 am to 5 pm on the first two days, and 10 am to 4 pm on the final day.
