Broadcast Media Africa (BMA), the leading industry convener for the continent’s media sector, is proud to announce that Mangomolo, a global pioneer in end-to-end Over-The-Top (OTT) video platform solutions, has been confirmed as a headline technology partner for the OTT Content Streaming Summit – Africa 2026. The summit is scheduled to take place from 24 – 25 February 2026 at The Capital 15 On Orange in Cape Town, bringing together the architects of Africa’s digital media future.

The partnership highlights Mangomolo’s critical role as a digital catalyst within the African broadcasting landscape. Most notably, Mangomolo’s industry-leading technology recently powered the comprehensive digital overhaul of the SABC+ platform, enabling South Africa’s national broadcaster to reach millions of users across a vast array of television and radio channels.

This partnership at the 2026 Summit will allow industry leaders to examine how Mangomolo’s “all-in-one” platform approach is successfully bridging the gap between traditional broadcasting and the new era of on-demand digital engagement.

Benjamin Pius, CEO of Broadcast Media Africa (BMA), emphasised that the summit’s theme, “Streaming Futures,” is perfectly embodied by Mangomolo’s innovative contributions to the sector. He noted that as the African market moves toward a more mature phase of digital consumption, the ability to manage over a billion monthly streams while maintaining high-quality user experiences is paramount. According to Pius, Mangomolo does not simply provide a service but offers a transformative engine that allows media houses to navigate the complexities of modern content delivery with agility and scale.

By unifying content management, sophisticated monetisation, and automated AI-driven workflows into a single ecosystem, Mangomolo empowers African broadcasters to overcome common technical hurdles. Their platform supports over 30 million viewers globally and offers the flexibility to integrate a range of revenue models, including SVOD, AVOD, and the rapidly growing FAST channel segment. This versatility is essential for the diverse economic landscapes of the African continent, ensuring that content remains accessible and profitable across all devices and infrastructure levels.
