The Broadcasters Convention Southern Africa 2025, hosted by the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) and convened by the Southern Africa Broadcasting Association (SABA) and Broadcast Media Africa (BMA) , brought together key voices from across the continent’s media ecosystem to explore the evolving landscape of content streaming, digital distribution, and the transformative impact of the AI era.

Held from October 28th to 30th in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe , the convention offered rich discussions and expert-led sessions addressing the strategic, technical, and regulatory challenges facing African broadcasters and media platforms . Now, all the essential content—session summaries, presentations, and key takeaways—is available to inform and inspire.

This event served as a unique convening point for platform operators, broadcasters, telecoms, regulators, content producers, and technology providers . Together, they tackled pressing issues.
