Sentech, South Africa’s state-owned signal distributor, has made several significant leadership appointments as part of its ongoing transformation strategy.

The company has introduced new chief commercial officers for its satellite, managed infrastructure services, media, and broadband sectors, as well as new chief financial and information officers.

“Sentech is evolving its operational model to focus more on business and customer needs, emphasising effective strategy delivery, governance, and accountability,” the company stated.

Clarinda Simpson has been appointed as the new chief financial officer (CFO), taking over from Rudzani Rasikhinya, who rendered dedicated service to the organisation.

To enhance its commercial capabilities and operational efficiency, Sentech has restructured its leadership approach. The new executives include:

  • Chief Commercial Officer: Satellite Business — Flenk Mnisi
  • Chief Commercial Officer: Managed Infrastructure Services — Marlon Finnis
  • Chief Commercial Officer: Media Business — Kopano Thage
  • Chief Commercial Officer: Broadband Business — Marius Venter
  • Chief Information Officer — Nomahlubi Ogoh

Tebogo Leshope, the CEO of Sentech, noted that these appointments are a vital part of the organisation’s redesign to drive growth across its various divisions.

“The Sentech board of directors and I congratulate all appointees, trusting that their skills and leadership will play a crucial role in executing the company’s strategic vision,” Leshope added.
