BeIN Media Group and the National Basketball Association (NBA) have announced the extension of their broadcast and digital partnership for the 2024-25 season. BeIN Sports, the group’s flagship sports channels, will exclusively air over 400 live NBA games across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

This renewal reinforces the 17-year collaboration between BeIN and the NBA, with BeIN holding the rights to the NBA in MENA since 2008. The broadcasts on BeIN Sports will be available in Arabic, English, and French, including coverage of the upcoming preseason games between the Boston Celtics and the Denver Nuggets on October 4 and 6, 2024, in Abu Dhabi.

Moreover, BeIN Sports will cover a minimum of two live NBA games each game night during the regular season, as well as the league’s major events such as NBA Global Games, holiday games, NBA All-Star 2025, the NBA Playoffs, the Conference Finals, and the Finals. The partnership also includes rights to NBA TV, the league’s 24/7 basketball channel, and access to extensive video highlights, news, stats, scores, and original digital content in Arabic on the NBA’s official website.

Mohammad Al-Subaie, CEO of BeIN MENA, expressed pride in renewing the broadcast partnership for another season, emphasizing their commitment to delivering top-notch global sports content to subscribers and maintaining BeIN Sports as the preferred destination for millions of basketball fans in the MENA region.

Elsa Memmi, NBA Europe and Middle East Vice President of Global Media Distribution highlighted the growing momentum around basketball and the NBA in the Middle East and North Africa.

She stated that BeIN MENA will continue to provide comprehensive coverage of the NBA and its marquee events, starting with the games in Abu Dhabi featuring the Boston Celtics and the Denver Nuggets. This will mark the first time the previous two NBA champions will face each other in an NBA Global Game, further enhancing the excitement for basketball fans in the region.
