Viasat has announced that it is working with CYSEC under its Elevate programme to provide reliable, state-of-the-art satellite communications cybersecurity tools.

CYSEC is a cybersecurity company based in France and Switzerland, specialising in securing the space internet.

Recognising the industry’s ever-evolving cyber threats, CYSEC provides high-performance cybersecurity solutions to enhance the fast-growing space asset market’s robustness, performance, confidentiality, and integrity. The company’s portfolio includes three main software product lines: ARCA SATCOM VPN, ARCA Trusted OS, and ARCA SATLINK. Its products are designed to provide comprehensive security solutions for critical infrastructures’ data communication and operational integrity.

As a member of Elevate, CYSEC will now have access to Viasat’s growing partner ecosystem and work closely with the company to develop custom cybersecurity solutions for the satellite communications industry.

CYSEC is also behind CYSAT, Europe’s largest event dedicated to space cybersecurity, demonstrating the company’s commitment to advancing the field and fostering collaboration between industry leaders.

James Grisbrook, Senior Director of Marketing Communications at Viasat Enterprise, said: “Our Elevate program is continuing to grow with a huge range of technology specialists, but CYSEC is expanding its presence in the critical field of cybersecurity. Having them on board to collaborate with our ecosystem and continue to drive progress.”

Yacine Felk, COO and co-founder of CYSEC said: “CYSEC is thrilled to join Viasat’s Elevate programme, bringing our revolutionary ARCA SATCOM VPN software technology to the forefront. Our solution encrypts and accelerates data traffic and boosts throughput by an average of 30% without added latency. This breakthrough unlocks numerous new use cases for our customers.”
