Professionals To Evaluate Advertising’s Future In Digital Broadcasting At Industry Convention In Abuja, Nigeria – March 2024

As we approach the eagerly anticipated event of the Broadcast And Digital Media Convention – West Africa, taking place from Tuesday, 19th – Thursday, 21 March 2024, to take place in Abuja, Nigeria, the event organisers have confirmed that one of the major outlooks for the gathering is to review and shape the future of advertising in the digital broadcast media ecosystem.

Africa has witnessed a remarkable surge in digital connectivity over the past decade, with the proliferation of smartphones and increased internet accessibility. This has led to a paradigm shift in how people consume content, opening up new avenues for advertisers to reach their target audiences. Traditional broadcast media, such as television and radio, transform digitally to adapt to consumers’ changing preferences.

The event convenors have added that the upcoming event will be a crucial platform for industry leaders, advertisers, and digital media enthusiasts to converge and explore the vast opportunities. With a focus on Africa’s digital broadcast media, the conference will delve into key topics such as emerging technologies, consumer behaviour trends, and innovative advertising strategies.

Commenting on this, Mr Benjamin Pius, CEO of Broadcast Media Africa, said, “This industry summit will provide a golden opportunity for valuable insights and innovation, allowing players and stakeholders to collaborate strategically and help pave the way for a profitable future in Africa’s dynamic digital landscape.”
