As the radio industry adapts to the evolving media landscape, the proliferation of digital platforms and the disruptive nature of AI has created an environment where listeners and users have infinite choices. This shift requires radio broadcasters to employ innovative strategies to understand and grow their audiences.

The Radio and Digital Sound Broadcasting Summit – presented by this BMA (this platform) and the Southern Africa Broadcasters Association (SABA), is a unique event that will evaluate the transformative power of data analytics and social media in the radio industry.

Participants at the convention will learn how to harness the power of data analytics to drive reach.

Commenting on the forthcoming convention for Radio and Sound Broadcasters, the CEO of BMA, Mr Benjamin Pius, said, “Radio broadcasters must embrace innovative approaches to understand and grow their audiences. Data analytics and social media offer powerful tools for gaining insights into listener behaviour and preferences. We look forward to bringing together all the major players across the value chain to get viable solutions.”

The upcoming Radio And Digital Sound Broadcasting Summit in Johannesburg presents a unique opportunity for industry professionals to not only explore these topics further but also to significantly enhance their professional growth. By sharing insights and best practices, participants can gain a deeper understanding of how data analytics and social media can transform the radio industry.
