The quest for effective content delivery platforms in the age of Artificial Intelligence and the digital ecosystem is a key feature at the upcoming Broadcast And Digital Media Convention – East Africa, scheduled for 7th-8th May 2024, at the BW Plus Pearl Addis Hotel, Addis Ababa – Ethiopia.

African broadcasters navigate a diverse terrain characterised by a multitude of languages, cultures, and infrastructural disparities. In this dynamic environment, the significance of robust content delivery platforms cannot be overstated. These platforms serve as the backbone for disseminating news, entertainment, and educational content to audiences spanning vast geographical regions.

Commenting, Mr Benjamin Puis, CEO of Broadcast Media Africa and chief convener of the industry convention, said, “As delegates converge in Addis Ababa for this event, the stage is set for collaboration, learning, and networking. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with leading industry players, explore cutting-edge technologies, and forge partnerships that drive the evolution of content delivery in Africa.”

The Broadcast And Digital Media Convention promises to be a nexus of innovation and collaboration, attracting industry leaders, technology experts, and policymakers to delve into the latest advancements and strategies in content delivery. At the heart of these discussions lies a shared commitment to harnessing technology to overcome barriers and unlock new opportunities for African broadcasters.

The event is convened by Broadcast Media Africa, together with Habeshaview and various other industry players.
