‘Palestine 36’ Soars To Second Place On Netflix MENA

Roya Media Group has celebrated a significant achievement for Palestine 36, as the distinguished feature film continues to gain traction across various streaming platforms, international film festivals, and award shows. Currently, the film holds the second spot on Netflix’s Top 10 movies chart in the Middle East and North Africa, highlighting its rising popularity among viewers in the region and its success in turning critical acclaim into audience appeal.

Directed by Annemarie Jacir, this historical drama has also garnered notable recognition on the global festival circuit. At the Annaba Mediterranean Film Festival, Jacir was awarded Best Director, and Palestine 36 clinched the Best Film award at the Casablanca International Independent Film Festival, further enhancing its international reputation.

The film is also generating buzz during the awards season, leading the pack in nominations at the Critics Awards for Arab Films. It has received recognition in six prestigious categories, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Actress, and Best Actor, showcasing widespread admiration for its artistic and technical merits.
