BMA’s Industry Webinar To Navigate The Future Of Broadcasting In The OTT And FAST Era On January 20

December 9, 2025

The rise of Over-The-Top (OTT) streaming and Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST) has fractured the traditional TV viewing model, presenting both a challenge and a massive opportunity for broadcasters. In light of this, BMA’s upcoming industry webinar, “From Spots to Streams: How Broadcasters Can Monetise Across Linear, OTT and FAST Platforms,” will be a deep dive into the critical technological and operational shifts broadcasters need to maintain profitability in a fragmented viewing environment.

The event, scheduled for Tuesday, January 20, 2026, will centre on the fundamental evolution required to transition from legacy, schedule-based ad-spot management to flexible, data-driven revenue models.

The industry is currently navigating the convergence of three distinct video ecosystems: traditional Linear TV, premium Over-The-Top (OTT) streaming, and the rapidly scaling Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST). The webinar addresses the challenges broadcasters face in unifying their advertising inventory and achieving audience targeting consistency across these divergent platforms.

The discussion will explore how core digital techniques, particularly Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI), are being successfully deployed to transform rigid linear inventory into high-value, addressable opportunities. This digital-first approach allows broadcasters to move beyond simple demographics to deliver personalised, relevant advertising, significantly boosting CPMs and improving the viewer experience by reducing ad fatigue.

Commenting on this, Mr Benjamin Pius, CEO of this platform, said, “The economic reality for broadcasters is clear: the ability to execute personalised, data-led advertising is no longer optional; it is foundational. This webinar will provide media executives with a blueprint for merging the high reach of broadcast with the high precision of digital, ensuring monetisation strategies are robust and future-proof across all methods of content delivery.”
