Sky And ITV Strengthen Partnership To Enhance Viewer Access And Content Offering

Sky and ITV have reaffirmed their long-standing collaboration with a renewed agreement, ensuring ITV’s content and services remain accessible across all Sky TV platforms in the UK. Established over several decades, this partnership enables Sky customers to continue accessing ITV’s extensive content library, which is conveniently integrated within Sky’s television offerings.

Viewers using Sky Stream, Sky Glass, and Sky Q will have uninterrupted access to the ITVX streaming service and all of ITV’s free-to-air linear channels. Additionally, ITV’s on-demand content will be available through the Sky Go app. Sky Q customers will enjoy the flexibility of accessing on-demand catch-up content directly on their set-top boxes and through the ITVX app.

Nick Herm, Group Chief Operating Officer, expressed, “This renewed partnership continues to provide lasting value for both Sky and ITV, ensuring millions of viewers can seamlessly access ITV’s content in their preferred way. Whether through live television, streaming, or on-demand via their boxes, we will keep delivering unmissable viewing experiences in one place.”

Chris Kennedy, ITV Chief Operating Officer and Chief Finance Officer, highlighted, “Our renewed agreement with Sky guarantees that ITV’s beloved programs reach millions across the UK through Sky’s platforms. This is a crucial aspect of our ongoing commitment to delivering outstanding content, regardless of how audiences choose to watch.”

The partnership will include popular ITV shows such as Trigger Point, Code of Silence, The 1% Club, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Here!, and Love Island. These will sit alongside Sky Originals like The Day of the Jackal, Gangs of London, and Sweetpea. It will also include live sports and programming from various partners, including Netflix, Apple TV, Disney+, Paramount+, Prime Video, BBC, and Channel 4.

In June, Sky, ITV, and Channel 4 also announced their joint effort to create a new advertising marketplace. This initiative aims to provide SMEs access to premium on-demand and streaming inventory across all three platforms for the first time.
