The world’s leading voices in artificial intelligence will gather in Geneva from 8 to 11 July for the AI for Good Global Summit 2025, hosted by the International Telecommunication Union in collaboration with over 50 UN agencies and the Swiss Government. As AI technologies evolve—from brain-machine interfaces and autonomous agents to quantum innovations—the summit aims to address governance, standards, and equitable access, particularly for developing nations.

Held at Palexpo, the event will feature over 100 live demonstrations of AI-driven solutions tackling real-world issues such as healthcare, education, disaster risk reduction, and food and water security.

Speakers include:

  • Doreen Bogdan-Martin, Secretary-General of the ITU
  • President Alar Karis of Estonia
  • Geoffrey Hinton and Yoshua Bengio, Turing Award-winning pioneers in AI
  • Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce
  • Meredith Whittaker, President of Signal
  • Yann LeCun, Chief Scientist at Meta
  • will.i.am, tech advocate and artist

Exhibition highlights will showcase an exciting range of cutting-edge innovations, including Xenobots—biologically engineered organisms designed by AI; NeuroExo, a brain-controlled device aimed at home-based rehabilitation; Vitamin, a compact autonomous robot that carries personal cargo; and EHang, a futuristic prototype of a flying car demonstrating the potential of AI in next-generation mobility.

New features for 2025 include a “Quantum for Good” track, the AI for Good Impact Awards, and the AI for Good Film Festival, which will feature AI-generated short films. The Youth Zone will host over 50 hands-on workshops in robotics and coding.

The summit will take place alongside the WSIS+20 High-Level Event, which marks 20 years since the World Summit on the Information Society and promotes global digital cooperation.

Media registration is now open. A single accreditation provides access to both events. An on-site Media Zone will offer workspace, interview opportunities, and live feeds.
