Broadcast Media Africa (BMA), in collaboration with the Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria (BON), is pleased to announce the upcoming  Broadcast and Digital Media Convention—West Africa, scheduled for August 06–07, 2025, in Central Lagos, Nigeria.

Set against the backdrop of a rapidly evolving media landscape, this year’s convention will focus on “Broadcasting and Content Publishing in the AI-Infused Digital Ecosystem.” This convention seeks to bring together industry leaders, innovators, policymakers, and senior professionals from across Africa and beyond to examine the profound impact of artificial intelligence on the broadcasting and digital media sectors.

As African media stakeholders navigate the complexities of this new AI-led ecosystem, the convention will offer a timely platform for discussion, collaboration, and forward-thinking strategy.

Attendees will gain critical insights into the future of digital broadcasting, explore innovative content delivery models, assess emerging advertising trends, and evaluate the evolving policy and regulatory environment in a converged media world.

The convention will also discuss local content development for digital platforms, infrastructure optimisation for digital terrestrial broadcasting, and opportunities for funding and financing media innovation. Senior executives, station managers, telecom operators, content producers, technology providers, and regulators are expected to participate, promising rich, cross-sector engagement.

BMA and BON invite all broadcasting and digital media stakeholders to be part of this transformative gathering.

The 2025 regional convention will highlight current challenges and opportunities and help shape policies and strategies for a thriving and sustainable media future in West Africa.
